Class Description:

10.60 /D GAS is based on an 10.60 index (all runs made faster than the index
will be disqualified) unless the run is made in eliminations and both cars
break out, then the closest car to 10.60 will be declared the round winner and advance to the next round.D/GAS is run on a PRO LADDER

Class Guidelines:

Rules & Regulations:

10.60/D GAS uses a "4/10ths Pro Tree" and will offer an "All Run" field, so
everyone will make it to elimination day!!! "Door slammer-type" vehicles ONLY!
(Left steer topless vehicles OK......No dragsters). Any and all performance modifications are legal, no tire size limits (Slicks OK), no minimum weight requirements, and all power adders are accepted (Nitrous controllers o.k. but limited to controlling N2O SYSTEM ONLY!) Trans-brakes and 3-steps will be allowed.
                 (Digital 7 Ignition O.K.) No down-track rev-limiters.

Qualifying:

All 10.60/D GAS cars will receive up to 3 qualifying runs on the first day of the event, #1 Qualifier will be determined by the closest run to the 10.60 index
without going quicker. In the event of 2 or more cars running the same qualified
E.T., the driver who posts the time first will be awarded with the qualified spot.
If you run quicker than the 10.60 Index on all qualifying runs, you will be placed at the bottom of the ladder for eliminations.

ELECTRONIC POLICY FOR 10.60/D GAS:

Electronic driving devices are strictly prohibited in this class. Items that
constitute electronic driving devices include, but are not limited to, throttle
stops, delay boxes & cross-over boxes. All such devices must be disabled before passing tech inspection. Rev-limiters are allowed, but three-step control is the maximum permitted. Stutter Boxes, Delay Boxes,Electronically controlled throttle stops, Crossover boxes or any "Reaction Time Related"
electronic aides strictly prohibited. If you have a Delay Box or any of the above mentioned devices functioning  in your vehicle, you will not be allowed to run in 10.60/D GAS!!!

Deep Staging:

Deep staging is permitted. Please have the words "DEEP" clearly written on all four windows.If "DEEP" is written on the windows you MUST deep stage, AND, it must be done in one motion! (NO "Bumping In")

Burn-Out Procedure:

10.60/ D GAS does allow burn-outs across the starting line.

WCHRA Required Decals:

Class Sponsor Decal:

Sponsor decal must be installed on base of windshield on the passenger side. (Bottom left hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield)

Series Sponsor Decal:

Sponsor decal must be installed on base of windshield on the driver’s side.
(Bottom right hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield)

Contingency Program & Contingency Decals:

All contingency decals may appear anywhere on the vehicle in a clear and
organized fashion.Contingency decals may not be overlapped or modified.
Most decals are available at the WCHRA Event Trailer, but in the event the
WCHRA does not have the decals in stock, it is the racer's responsibility to
obtain the proper decals to be eligible for the Contingency payout.

WCHRA Point System:

We will be calculating points at each event, and will crown a champion at the conclusion of the season.

WCHRA Race Day Rules and Procedures:

All drivers and vehicles must meet current NHRA and track requirements.
