***************************************************************************************************  CLASS DESCRIPTION:
The Sportsman Class was designed for Cars,Trucks,Dragsters, Altereds
& Motorcycles to compete against each other in a typical
"NON-ELECTRONICS" Bracket.Eliminations will be run on a sportsman ladder and
the qualifying order will be determined by Reaction time.
 #1 Qualifier will be the entrant with the best reaction-time in qualifying.
The first racer with the best reaction time will be #1 Qualifier

RULES & REGULATIONS:
The Sportsman Class uses a " 5/10ths Full Tree" start system. All type 
vehicles are permitted. Any modifications,  any vehicle weight, or power
adders o.k.(Nitrous controllers o.k. but are limited to N2O SYSTEM ONLY!)
Trans-brakes and 3-steps are permitted(Digital 7 Ignition O.K.).
 NO STREET TIRES ALLOWED.....Except on Motorcycle Entries!!
              (Drag Radials,E.T. Streets,Slicks,O.K.)
Stutter boxes, Delay boxes,Electronically controlled throttle-stops,
crossover boxes or any "Reaction-Time Related" aides PROHIBITED.
If you have a Delay Box or any of the above mentioned devices in your
vehicle,you will not be allowed to run in the Sportsman Class!!

Deep Staging:
Deep staging is permitted. Please have the words "DEEP" clearly written
on all four windows. If "DEEP" is written on the windows you MUST deep
stage, AND, it must be done in one motion! (NO "Bumping In")

Burn-Out Procedure:
The Sportsman Class allows vehicles to burn-out
across the starting line.

Class Sponsor Decal :
Sponsor decal must be installed on base of windshield on the passenger side.
(Bottom left hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield)

Series Sponsor Decal:
Sponsor decal must be installed on base of windshield on the drivers side.
(Bottom right hand side when looking at front of vehicle windshield) 


Contingency Program & Contingency Decals:
Contingency decals may appear anywhere on the vehicle in a clear and
organized fashion. Contingency decals may not be overlapped or modified.
Most decals are available at the WCHRA Event Trailer, but in the event the
WCHRA does not have the decals in stock, it is the racer's responsibility to
obtain the proper decals to be eligible for  Contingency payout.

WCHRA Point System:
We will be calculating points at each event, and will crown a champion at the
conclusion of the season.
YOU MUST BE A WCHRA MEMBER TO RECIEVE CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS !
