A claim made by the PSCA , on the message board that the event would be covered by live “televised” internet. It never happened. Family, friends let down.

A claim made by the PSCA that we would have 4 hours of testing. Testing started late and ended early? Why? Not to mention that many were turned around because announcements were made “ staging lanes closed” Only to let several cars run while others were turned around. We all paid the same amount . Close it for all or open for all. Bogus call

A cut of 3rd round qualifying. We paid for it. PSCA needs to follow through. If it was a track issue then lets go somewhere else. Several pointed fingers at the track manager.

Jet cars. While they are really cool, safety comes first. The track needs to be prepped without prompting. My understanding is the class following the jet cars refused to run . The promoter claims the jet cars run a “new fuel” that does not leave the track slick. Wrong, it does, and it’s been proven.

Pro classes were promised set run times. It worked for a while, then when back to the same old B.S. Do they have set times or not? You run the show, u fix it. Again fingers pointes at Mr. Blair. Did he really say, “if you don’t like it ….leave ?” If so………

The Final call for eliminations was made while 3+ rounds were still running in the bracket classes, leaving heads-up classes sitting in the lanes for almost an hour. Not good.

The Las Vegas crew complaining of fatigue on Sat night, and they had to be back early in the morning. The track had junior dragsters running prior to PSCA, they also had a Corvette club running concurrent. Did THEY miss any rounds? Heads-Up classes pay BIG money to get there cars to PSCA events. How bout mustang madness? Did PSCA rent the track or not? A 10 hour PSCA schedule reduced to 5 hours then shut down? Why?

A reasonable fix would have been a 3rd round on Sun. We paid for it. Figure out how to make it happen.

For those of you out -of -towners thinking of making the trip to the Super Nationals. Would you let this happen to you? All combined with street car tires mixed with slicks on the track, outrageous entry fees. ( Make sure you add up the entry fee AND your class fee plus your crew and the extra pit car and be prepared to pay $400 - $600 hard earned presidents to get in .

For the in -towners, PSCA “outlawed” engine combinations will be allowed for this Super-Nationals event. The mid-west and back east heavy hitters will be allowed to come clean house if they wish. A built in incentive for them to make the trip and take names from the PSCA boys. Kinda cool? Kinda not. Who supports the PSCA all year only to be handicapped for the final race? Without the PSCA regulars, there would be no Super-Nationals.

Peace Out

Things (not) to look forward to at your next PSCA race

Did anybody notice or was it just me? LETS HEAR WHAT YOU THINK RACERS! I would really like to hear from the current and future True Ten 5 racers, but, all input is encouraged! Thanks ! , Tim Rigby

2/27/2008 3:58:47 PM
Maliboost
Posts 16 I dunno about that TT5 stuff, but down here all we do is 1/8th mile.

Bob

2/28/2008 7:49:15 AM
Nitrousrat
Posts 1 Tim,
You are right we were not in favor of 1/8 mile racing until we raced in Texas and it is some of the coolest most intense racing we have ever seen not to mention the huge decrease in motor failures and down time.
So to answer your question YES we would be in favor of the change.

How about OUTLAW 10.5 going to 1/8 mile?

HOLDER MOTORSPORTS!

Heros

Ricky Bobby - Shake 'n Bake

Hey TimMay!

I'm digging the new forum and great job! :)

Hey John

I got the motor running, does it sound good to you??? sounds a little sick to me.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=gIgUyTbp588

thanks
Bob

New Classes

2/23/2008 10:22:04 PM
73cuda
Posts 4 .5 full tree should be a great class, can't wait to run my Cuda

2/25/2008 11:43:19 PM
tim rigby
Posts 9 73cuda wrote:
.5 full tree should be a great class, can't wait to run my Cuda

Should be fun with all types of vehicles allowed,I will have the rules posted shortly!

2/29/2008 6:50:43 AM
72nova
Posts 5 Tim, when is the rule page for .5 bracket going to be posted?
