Hey for all the Pro Street guys i would like to put out an invitation for you all to come to our West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod race at Sacramento Raceway September 19 & 20. For those who havent raced at the track this is the best year that i have ever seen the track and the Governors Cup event is the biggest & best event for the track. Come out and race with us, go a couple rounds and get testing data for your race a couple weeks after in October. The track is good, 2 of our racers have gone mid-high 6.20's and Randy Kay has gone 236 + mph.

Also, outlaw 10.5 guys can come run with us or the West Coast Top Sportsman Assoc. Their class is a 7.95 slowest dial index class with the fastest cars running 7.20's...

Anyways if you want more information ill leave phone numbers and email addresses for both associations if anyone is interested

Pro Mod Association: Melynda Burbage (530) 355-9777 or email wcopma@msn.com

Top Sportsman Association: Jeff Gillette (925) 336-0873 or email j.d.gillette@worldnet.att.net

Im trying to make it to Bakersfield next weekend so see you all there!

The West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association Saves The Best, For Last

The West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association prepares for the 2008 Governors Cup at Sacramento Raceway Park this upcoming weekend, September 19-20. The Governors Cup is the largest event at Sacramento Raceway. It will also be the biggest, and the last, event in the 2008 season for the West Coast Outlaws. With a stunning 17 cars pre-entered (as of Sept. 14th) and still some more unconfirmed we are expecting the largest turnout of cars for the associations history. With the weather being in the mid-80’s all weekend we are expecting good numbers and the quickest and fastest field to date for the association.

A list of the 17 pre-entered racers include: Jack Housley, Doc Finley, Doug Reed, Rod Burbage, Bob Bunker Jr., Randy Kay, Tim Stefan, Doug Ballance, Scott Bailey, Jay Diedrich, Sean Renteria, Perry Brown, Aaron Wardell, Gary Foble, Mike Leonard, Rod Pearce and Monty Berney.

Testing is from 12 to 5 pm on Friday with our first round of qualifying at 7:30 pm Friday night. The second round of qualifying is approximately at 12:30 Saturday afternoon with eliminations being held on Saturday around 5:30, 7:30 and the final round around 9:30 pm. All times are subject to change.
